Leave Le Collet early in the morning to go hiking in the beautiful landscapes of the Haut Breda Valley. Walk freely in this 20 km long glacier valley to reach Fond de France, which will lead you to the refuge des 7 Laux. Walk around the lakes of 7 Laux and discover the beauty and richness of this valley where iron and minerals were exploited. Hike in still unspoilt landscapes and admire the Pissou or Combe Madame waterfalls.
When dawn comes, hiking boots on your feet, it’s time to set off on the GR 738. The GR 738 is a must for the hikers of the Echappée Belle, and opens the way to meditation and contemplation. Wander the paths, find yourself along the balcony passages. Alone or accompanied by a guide with the surrounding massifs as the only backdrop. In front of you, the Vercors, Chartreuse, Aravis, Bauges and of course the Mont Blanc massif stand out.
Leave the mountain pastures behind to adopt the forest landscapes of the Allevard country. Mushroom picking, mountain bike rides, orienteering, the forest offers a wonderful environment to those who want to discover it. Between Le Collet and Les 7 Laux, the woods of the Pays d’Allevard are worth getting to know.
Reach the Pierre Carré refuge, admire the lakes and the Evêque ridge on the way, walk for about 5 km for the pleasure and beauty of the scenery. Cross the forest and follow an itinerary of 5.3 km to reach Les Mouilles from the clos des gentianes. From the Super Collet, Nordic walking attracts and allows hikers to witness fabulous landscapes.
