Forges and Mills Museum in Pinsot

Museum, Sciences and technology, Arts and culture, World of rural agricultural, Occupations, Mechanical sciences, Local history, Eco-museum in Haut-Bréda
  • See three mills in action, powered by the waters of the Gleyzin mountain river. A mix of smells and sounds that takes you back to the daily life of the peasant-workers of yesteryear. All tours are fully guided.

  • The museum is a perfect representation of what the work at the forge was. There, our guides will show and explain in details how the Forge and Mills were used. The museum is a wonderful place for kids who will enjoy seeing all the old machines running (watch out though, as the hammer is very noisy and can scare the little ones). If you want to experience this old way of living you will like to visit the place so put it on you to-do list.
